Since
Nepal first opened its
door to the outside world in 1955, it has become one of the most popular and

snow-capped peaks running the entire length of its northern borders with

ANNAPURNA
REGION
Annapurna Region in
West Nepal is one of the
most popular and favourite trekking regions. Machhapuchhare, the fish-tail
mountain and the Annapurna Range i.e. – Annapurna I, II, III, etc. have been
very popular with mountaineers. The beautiful Rhododendron forest, which
blooms during April & May, attracts many nature lovers. This region is also
the home of the Gurungs – majority ethnic community in this area, who form
the back bone of the famous British Gurkha Regiments. All treks here mostly
begin and end in Pokhara.

LANGTANG REGION

picturesque, rich in heritage with plenty and plant and animal life. Here
the great peaks of Ganesh (7407m), Langtang Girung (7246m), Dorje Lakpa
(6975m) and many others stand majestically. This area is where the famous
Yak Cheese is produced. The Langtang National Park is one of the most
beautiful parks its famous alpine terrain.

in the Everest region, where the famous Manu Rimdu festival takes place.
